Tim is currently the Senior President of Field Operations for Taylor’s Construction, Inc. He is also the Owner-Operator of Nichols Consulting which specializes in Fiber Optic, Quality Control and Education. Tim has his Masters of Science in Optical Engineering from Fairfax University of America.

Tim is a lifelong entrepreneur with a passion for being involved in his community through business, volunteering and philanthropy. He served as Owner-Operator of Nichols Line Company from 1983 to 2021 where he managed crews and was the fiber optic splicing expert. From 1998 to 2002 Tim was the Driver and Team Leader for Nichols Motorsports, Inc. He also was Owner-Operator of Maplewood Farms 2001-2010 specializing in artificial insemination training for Clemson University equestrian program along with breeding, boarding and training.
